For example an unexpected country may on be 'ex[ected' for 1 month whilst the user is on holiday.
So if it creates a rule in the future that there is an 'unexpected login' but the alert doesnt come through because they previously went there and it was expected.
Can we configure in settings or a flag where we can set this to be expected for 3 months and then it removes the rule automatically.

Submit location rules prior to travel

It would be useful to have a feature that allows submitting location rules prior to travel for a set time. This would help in managing security settings more effectively during travel periods.

The ability to set a "start date" for an Expected configuration rule is planned as part of a broader set of configuration rule updates we are looking to quick off this quarter.
My apologies to everyone confused about the previous post being marked complete. We merged many requests asking for configuration rule improvements into the request for configuration rule end dates. That work was completed in January and the original post was marked as complete.

Feature request/concern; Add exclusion date range for travelling.

We had a Critical incident reported because the user was travelling to several different countries using a VPN. We followed up with Huntress support on what triggered this and it was the use of a VPN and logging in from different IPs etc. They suggested we submit a feature request. Looking here online there are similar request made already like this it seems? When can we expect this to be implemented?
Question: Is there a way we can add an exclusion date range pro-actively when we know a user is travelling so we don't create these critical false positive issues?
If this feature is currently in progress, do we know when we can expect this to be available and how would we be notified when this is available? Thank you.

Please! I created a post a long time ago, but somehow it disappeared along with all of my upvotes.

Set a start date for location rules

I need the ability to set a start date for location rules in advance. This feature would be beneficial for situations like when a senior lawyer is going on a cruise, and I have the stopover dates. I want to add these dates proactively rather than scheduling them manually later, which can be risky.

Came here just for this suggestion. This will save us from a potential missed notificaiton.

Upvoting this As others have said customers will provide start dates for trips which we need to have sitting open for weeks at a time.

Please prioritize the capybara, but afterward I would really like to be able to preemptively schedule Geo expectations.
